Key responsibilities:

Closely working with Lead Facilities Engineer, the role is to support Development Engineering Manager in delivery of upstream surface facilities concept selection scope.

To report cost and progress associated with upstream concept selection contractor. Indentify key risks and issues, develop and implement mitigation plan

Co-ordinate the activities associated with delivery of ITT package for FEED

Co-ordinate interfaces between concept selection contractor and Tullow discipline specialists to ensure integrated delivery.

Responsible for preparation of key project documents (Integrated SoW, SoR, project BoD)Input to key project documents (for example, FDP)

Co-ordinate tendering for FEED.

Co-ordination for all surface facilities planning fully integrated with subsurface, well engineering, operations, infrastructure & logistics,

Environmental & Social and commercial requirements:

Responsible for all surface facilities interfaces including consultants/contractors and internal departments.

Ensure that any gaps are highlighted and subsequently bridged effectively

Manage and collate the data required for Economic Input

Deck requiring co-ordination of multidisciplinary input.

Prepare for and participate in ‘stage gate’ value assurance reviews.

Participate in value engineering, risk & opportunities workshop and schedule reviews

Ensure “end to end” system integrity through effective management of the interfaces.

Ensures that all work within the area of responsibility is adequately documented and lessons learned from other projects are captured.

Ensure development analogue documents are made available and effectively applied

Even though currently deemed not essential, there may be requirement for field visits occasionally.



Engineering degree or equivalent.

Chartered Engineer Preferred.

Sufficient subsurface and well engineering knowledge to be able to communicate and integrate technical issues

Experience of E&P field or project engineering including specific Owner/Operator experience of concept,

FEED and FDP. Engineering background is preferred.

Experience in large scale onshore oil development with complex and multidimensional challenges to resolve (waxy crude, large well-count, high water-cut, remote location, environmental & social constraints, etc).

Familiar with cost/value drivers relating to fast track development, construction strategies, alternative project contracting and execution strategies, reservoir management and well engineering/drilling.

Demonstrable specific experience in Owner/Operator of e.g.:Track record of interfacing and co-ordination capability

Developed management and interpersonal skills with the capability to lead a cross functional team

Hands-on problem solving and rapid resolution of issues

Awareness and sensitivity to multinational exposures and cultures
