This position provides support and/or leadership on proposals ranging from highly complex and strategic to smaller efforts, and leadership and direct supervision of day-to-day responsibilities of the assigned staff.
Manage proposal efforts, from small to large, and often strategic/major.
Lead, manage, administer, and mentor/coach proposal team of professionals and technical production staff.
Work with the sales team to lead proposal efforts and develop tailored content.
Know, apply, and advocate use of standard BD processes and tools.
Support sales manager in integrating pursuit strategy/win themes.
Lead the proposal process including compliance, schedule, and budget.
Possess and apply knowledge of competitor and industry trends within Business Group.
Well organized, able to manage multiple tasks and oversee the work of the assigned staff concurrently.
At least 10 years of experience in engineering or construction industries
Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, with an eye towards sales messaging, themes, proposal aesthetics, and content
At least 10 years of experience developing complex proposals, presentations, and sales or proposals processes.
Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Business, technical/scientific discipline or related field
