Reporting to the Sales Manager, Southwest USA, your responsibilities will include, achieving agreed revenue sales targets by developing and maintaining an effective professional liaison with all travel agents, corporate clients, and tour operators within the region. You will ensure that all travel agents, commercial clients, and tour operators are visited on a regular cyclical basis and are aware of Emirates products and services. Training to be undertaken wherever necessary with key producers. You will maintain and develop relationships with key specified accounts to obtain maximum benefit from all revenue opportunities. You will present targeted presentations and provide training, to increase Emirates market share. You will develop and implement the agreed sales and marketing plans with accounts throughout the appointed territory in conjunction with the Sales Manager.
You will closely monitor revenue results from the market and recommend appropriate measures to exceed revenue targets. You will negotiate and put forward incentive agreements for selected accounts - agents and corporate clients, implement the proposal and assess performance on a quarterly basis. You will analyse market shares on a monthly basis and monitor market trends & competitor activity and recommend strategies to counter the competition.
- You will have three years experience in a field sales role with knowledge of reservations, fares and ticketing.
- You will have thorough knowledge of EK products and services and be proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel and Power Point.
- Good knowledge of the United States and the Middle East markets would be a definite advantage.
- You will have the ability to source new business opportunities. Must have a valid USA driving license and automobile.
