Job Description

Bytemobile Citrix manufactures products which unify, simplify, and accelerate the deployment of advanced mobile operator data services to mobile handsets, laptops, and PDAs.

  • More than one billion subscribers around the world have access to Bytemobile solutions via more than 100 mobile network operators.
  • Bytemobile solutions are deployed globally in more than 55 countries.

    Specializing in specific subset of the Citrix/Bytemobile product line for telecommunications; generates a pipeline and manages opportunities within the assigned geographical territory of the Middle East and Africa focusing specifically on telecommunications operators and partners to increase Citrix market share and revenue. Capable of being called into accounts as opportunities are identified and work with the Sales Team to close the sale to achieve or exceed revenue targets. Leveraged as an industry and market expert to develop and present sales proposals and systems solutions, and assist in closing complex sales. Able to work independently to develop and execute account and opportunity sales strategies



  • Develops and manages an assigned list of mobile operator accounts and opportunities within the territory of the Middle East and Africa focusing specifically on telecommunications operators and partners.
  • Prospects for new business via direct customer engagement, or working with Citrix/Bytemobile partners to develop strong customer relationships and a strong sales pipeline, and then execute on the closing of this pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Manages both an indirect customer procurement and direct customer engagement model.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the sale from pricing negotiations to contract development to ensuring successful order fulfillment once the order has been received and processed by Citrix.
  • Ability to leverage past experience of the telecommunications network area to drive new opportunities.
  • Manage weekly forecasts against revenue targets and work closely with inside sales counterpart to manage the pipeline
  • Well versed in setting appropriate monthly and quarterly revenue expectations using Citrix-defined CRM and forecasting tools with demonstrated competency.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with network and marketing organizations of Tier 1 Telecoms Operators.
  • Typically responsible for leading Tier 1 Mobile Telecoms Operator accounts.



  • Strong experience with Mobile Network Operators in the Middle East Region with Senior Level Relationships
  • Strong knowledge of sales techniques and processes including the ability to understand customer needs, overcoming objections, return on investment analysis, closing the sale through appropriate procurement vehicle (shrink wrap, licensing, etc.)
  • Ability to apply a thorough understanding of Citrix/Bytemobile products required
  • Background/Experience in Mobile Telecommunications Networks and Data services
  • Knowledge of complementary hardware and software solutions
  • Ability to create and maintain senior customer relationships e.g CXO level
  • Ability to manage complex sales and account relationships
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills
  • Strong work ethic, attitude and follow through ability
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory and region

Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, and Experience)

  • Prior territory sales experience in a mobile telecommunications direct sales role and procurement environment with a demonstrated track record of success in driving customer adoption of technology.
  • Senior Level relationships with Middle Eastern Mobile Operators
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory and region
  • Ability to speak Arabic is preferred
