Job Description
The Senior Trainer delivers all kind of trainings. He/she develops resources and coursework material for progress.
Responsibilities
- Manage ILM Training
» Evaluate training needs; training methods to be used and training plan
» Divide the training between internal/ external training
» Coordinate all registrations for ILM learners using Walled Garden Liaise
» Follow up progress and mark assignments of all individuals
» Collect and mark all individual learners ILM assignments
» Design, develop and implement ILM Leadership & Management programmes with Group L&D Design Team
» Carry out individual tutorials for all learners following the ILM route of training
» Evaluate the delivery, performance and effectiveness of ILM training programmes
» Train, develop and monitor a pool of internal instructors, as per ILM & Group standard
» Organise and liaise with Internal Verifier (ILM sampling plan) and External Verifier (ILM programmes)
- § Manage and Support Functional Training
» Establish needs within each function for areas of development and drive training making decisions on external or internal
options depending on ROI and effectiveness
» Develop functional internal staff training courses with Subject Matter Experts using A.D.D.I.E model of ISD
» Train, develop and monitor a pool of internal functional instructors, as per Group standard
» Develop a framework for testing and evaluation of training programmes
» Supporting annual conferences in relation to learning and development
- Self-Development
» Keep updated in the industry to ensure professional accuracy and standard by ILM
» Reporting proposals for new innovative L & D ideas
» Acquire multimedia aids and educational materials as part of content development
» Seek new and relevant training tools.
- Liaise between different departments
» Maintain contact with all Learners
» Liaise and assist the Training Specialists locally and regionally
» Build and maintain rapport with all departments within the organisation
» Build a strong relationship with own pool of internal instructors, taking care of development needs and motivation
- Admin Management and Planning
» Participate in forecasting yearly training needs and budget
» Optimise the use of training budget.
» Managing own data; past results and future plans
» Participate in the annual report group project
» Reporting up-to-date effectiveness of training with recommendations for improvements
Requirements
Knowledge of ILM / awarding body process
Experience of Instructional System Design
Good Communication Skills
Good in PowerPoint
Masters Degree in HR, Business, Psychology or any related field
Min 3 years of similar experience with the ability to design training programs
