Job Description

• Manage all aspects of aftermarket activity including, but not limited to, supporting proposal development, supporting project execution, commissioning, personnel management, recruiting, training, temporary labour, and business travel.

• Coordinate the scheduling and movement of service engineers and technicians to support ad-hoc and dedicated service contracts.

• Assure proper field service reporting and invoicing.

• Manage field services financial performance including revenues, margins, and absorption. Monitor and report performance to management.

• Maintain effective communications with Engineering, Sales, Project Management, Procurement, suppliers, and staff.

• Build strong business relations with key regional aftermarket customers.

• Develop plans for continuous improvement processes in line with the company and divisional objectives.

• Promote and maintain the highest ethical standards in relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers.

• Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned such as warranty resolution support.

• Travel up to 25%. 


• The successful applicant will have a post-secondary education in Engineering or equivalent demonstrated experience and a minimum of eight years experience managing technical services personnel and projects.
• Experience in oil, gas, and water processing with experience in manufacturing, project planning, and cost control management.
• Ability to lead, develop, and motivate others.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in the international business environment. 
• Experience developing and training field service teams.
• Proven interpersonal, organizational skills, and flexibility concerning daily business activities.
• The candidate will be able to perform required responsibilities under minimal supervision.
• Previous experience in continuous improvement processes and understanding/experience of contracts and their terminology 
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
• Working knowledge of SAP is preferred
