Provide technical consulting to global business partners including Upstream, DS&C, GFIT & ITC.
Analyze business needs and translate them to SharePoint functionalities
Support existing applications including troubleshooting and resolving problems
Performs functional tests after application upgrade as needed
Follows best practices, operational excellence objectives for overall application reliability, security, availability, responsiveness and effectiveness.
Develops and designs solutions using custom and out-of-the-box features
Develop new & maintain existing Knowledge Base article
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
3-5 years of professional application support and development experience
A good understanding of SharePoint 2010 features and best practices is required
Ability to troubleshoot, investigate and resolve technical issues
Ability to communicate guidance, and coordinate implementation with non-technical business users
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to develop an effective working relationship with personnel from other cultures and backgrounds, high level of customer service and follow-up skills required.
Ability to organize, and prioritize tasks and work under pressure during troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Understanding of SharePoint platform hosting models and environments
Good website development skills
Project management experience with small to large projects, management of scope and customer expectations
