Job Description

  • Provide Data Centre Infrastructure Management pre-sales consultancy i.e. facilities and design, cost analysis, services uptime availability, ROI, equipment specifications and system configurations.
  • Provide technical presentation and explanation to the customer technical team members and partners to enhance Emerson position so as to facilitate early and decisive closure of business deal opportunities and pursuits.
  • Assist local and regional business development team on pre-sales support through technical consultancy advice to potential customers, and eventually became customers’ preferred choice.
  • Provide and shared experience in Data Centre Infrastructure Management operational requirements and issues faced from an end-user point of view with customers / consultants so as to convince them to subscribe to Emerson solutions.
  • Provide technical training and customer service experience to respective Market Units / partners in Asia Pacific region to enhance customers’ relationship and business development.
  • Review of AAR (After Activity Review) of the win/ lost ratio and make recommendations for improvements / implementations
  • Maintain and track day-to-day market development in Data Centre Infrastructure Management technology and accurately access the opportunity within the geographical boundary. Thereafter to work with internal operations to smooth out the engagement processes to facilitate timely implementations.
  • Liaise with Asia Pacific and Global Technical Support team on the Emerson’s new initiative and direction in Data Centre technology solutions, and and be main point of contact for Data Centre Infrastructure Management technical and design matters. Monitor and tracked local technical support efficiency and performance programs.
  • Prepare and give presentations regarding Data Centre Infrastructure Management design and best practices at management reviews and other high-level meetings.
  • Ensure that Company’s quality and professional image in the market are upheld at all times through personal conduct and updates / attendance on scheduled internal / external self enrichment courses and programs. Good Team work is the essential quality benchmark in all deliverables.


  • A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • Possess at least 1-5 years of working experience, with strong background in Data Centre’s System design and installation, as well as best practices in Data Centre design and built supporting customer interface programs
  • Pleasant, co-operative, self-motivated, team player, customer oriented and positive attitude.
  • Ability to interact with all levels.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Possess strong business acumen with full understanding of the functionality of the company’s products, selling points, features and application.
  • Possess strong products and technical background and ability to be fully conversant with the technologies in the industry. Keep abreast of changes that take place in the industry and understand the implications of the changes to the business.
