Delivers Health, Safety, and Environmental programs to prevent or correct unsafe environmental working conditions, utilizing knowledge of industrial processes, mechanics, chemistry, psychology, and industrial health and safety regulation.
Lead the HSE duties required on the project such as inspection / audits / observations.
Supervising of HSE Trainees and Jr. HSE Supervisors to mentor their progress and development, assisting in JSA / toolbox talks as well as detailed safety plans.
Ensure work processes are implemented as required, able to conduct new hire orientation training classes as well as technical HSE courses (fall protection, respiratory protection, etc).
Advanced knowledge of rigging plans, load calculations and lifting equipment selection and use, assist construction supervision in problem solving lead serious accident investigation teams.
BS in Engineering, Health and Safety Management, or equivalent curriculum or extensive construction experience with minimum High School Education.
Minimum 5- 10 years of experience.
Ability to read, write and speak English, interact with all levels of personnel with the construction team and work within the HSE team structure, moderate skills in Microsoft Office.
Extensive ability to use the Cintellate system for incidents, training and man hours.
Good knowledge of Construction Manual and Red Sheet requirements, completion of monthly reporting requirements.
