SCOPE OF BAB- HABSHAN 1 Project
The Bab Habshan -1 full field development plan recommends phasing the development of habshan -1 into 2 phases. The development will start with Water injection (phase -1) followed by Miscible Water Alternating Gas injection, initially water injection phase mandated to start production in 2014 followed by MWAG injection phase in 2020.
The phase 1 development consists of 15 oil producers with the associated gathering facilities and 15 water injection wells with the associated injection cluster facilities. However the full field development will consist of 41 oil producers and 40 water injection wells.
It is envisaged that the BAB central Degassing station will be ready to accommodate the additional productions from H1 as part of ongoing 1.8 project for Thamma G and Habshan -2 project by end 2012.The new surface facilities, in general will consist of the following.
Oil gathering system
Oil flow lines and transfer lines
Water Header and flow lines
A degree in Chemical Engineering with at least eight (8) years experience in major oil/gas projects in similar position.
Must have executed major refinery projects as the Lead Process Engineer and detailed Engineering with an Engineering Contractor/Consultant organization.
Full involvement and contribution in design, engineering, P&ID reviews, hazop and safety review is absolutely essential.
In addition, familiarity with licensor packages as well as co-ordination experience is mandatory.
Further management of FEED/EPC CONTRACTOR and FEED/EPC deliverables for Owner will be added qualification.
He shall have the proven capability to independently handle process simulations and calculations and prepare optimization reports where necessary and as directed by Owner.
