Job Description

  • Will own the regional marketing , Oil & Gas vertical marketing, and be the product management interface for ME and Turkey.
  • Will develop and own the marketing plan for the region and the O&G vertical by integrating the market understanding with the supply inputs, and execute the plan by collaborating with the regional sales, ISC, product management, and regional marketing organizations.
  • Will drive the product and vertical related AOP initiatives to get profitable growth, be the strategic & transactional pricing leader, design the channel programs, and actively support the local marcom in brand/pull initiatives.
  • The individual will also function as strategic thought and business development leader for the region to drive a well-coordinated growth in the region.
  • Understand/estimate the market (sizes, segments, verticals, competition)
  • Understand our current offerings (products, services, pricing, supply situation)
  • Develop road map and options for profitable growth (where to play, what to play with now, next 2-5 years, revenue and profit impact, costs/investments needed, go-to-market strategy, key implementation levers etc.)
  • Drive execution of strategic roadmap, stepping in with growth initiatives in collaboration with biz teams. Develop end-user relationships, identify unique commercial & product offerings, build impactful regional marketing programs & monitor win/loss for future actions
  • Understand the O&G market (sizes, needs, current buys, buying process etc)
  • Understand our current offerings applicable to O&G
  • Develop road map and options for profitable growth (where to play, what to play with now, next 2-5 years, revenue and profit impact, costs/investments needed, go-to-market strategy, key implementation levers etc.)
  • Drive the O&G marketing initiatives - be the key project manager and the lead expert on the vertical; work with and train the regional sales team to drive growth in the vertical
  • Be the strategic pricing leader - revise the regional price lists based on competitive pricing, our value proposition, our product line strategies and positioning
  • Function as the key approver for the deal-based price discounting requests and establish the price deviation process for the region
  • Assist regional sales leader in designing the appropriate channel programs for the region - understand the key value levers in distributor partnerships and build programs rewarding channel partners that help HSP grow profitably

Requirements

  • Minimum BS Degree and extensive industry experience (e.g., 5-10 years) with exposure to strategic  and tactical marketing.
  • MBA and strong networks/experience in O&G sector
  • Knowledge on personal protective equipment (PPE) industry would be an advantage
  • Oil & gas sector; Strategic marketing, project management, and pricing knowledge/skills.
  • Entrepreneurial, start-up, and business development skills a big plus. Strong MS office skills
  • Self-starter, structured thinker, ability to work collaboratively across functions/regions, influence others, multi-task, and work with stretch goals and deadlines. Strong written and oral communication
  • Person will work with team of multiple nationalities e.g., UAE, Turkey, India, France, Russia, Eastern Europe, North America. Hence needs to be experienced, responsible, and culturally sensitive
