Job summary

The Strategic Partnership Manager will be part of the international sales team and act as a key market business leader in the UK with the responsibility of managing the commercial relationships with key distributors and/or corporate customers.

Working relationship

You will work closely with the commercial & other teams internally as well as external parties at all levels.

  • Meet challenging sales targets and KPIs.

  • Promote and widen Arik product / network awareness across the retail and corporate travel sectors

  • Enhance Arik’s relationships with the travel trade and key business travel communities.

  • Manage a portfolio of high profile clients and service providers in different geographical markets

  • Drive and lead negotiations on commercial contracts

  • Represent the company at key trade, industry and business events

  • Conduct product training seminars and briefings for target travel buyers and travel buying decision-makers.

  • Collaborate with key HQ departments and personnel to deliver continuous improvement in Arik’s product and service levels, and to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.

Requirements

Required skills & qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have a university degree or relevant business qualification as well as having several years’ experience in a similar airline commercial management/sales position.

  • Strong account management skills and experience of dealing with senior level decision makers

  • Proven track record in account development/retention to meet challenging revenue targets

  • Commercially astute, analytical, a problem solver

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Good knowledge of the UK and European travel markets
