Reporting to the Head of Student Recruitment, you will focus on delivery of an excellent candidate experience to meet challenging service line recruitment targets.
You will work as part of a large student recruitment team with the support of a shared service function that recruits a substantial number of students and graduates across the UK. In addition, you will be required to assume team management responsibilities such as counselling and coaching.
The role could be based in London, Birmingham or Manchester but may involve travel throughout the UK.
•Overall ownership of candidate pipelines for assigned service lines/business units:
oAnalysis and management of candidate flow to identify potential areas of concern and ensure KPI's are being met or exceeded on an ongoing basis
oWork with a shared service centre to deliver an excellent candidate experience whilst maintaining efficient turnaround times
oResponsibility for the consistent application of student strategy and process across the student team
oAnalysis (and preparation of) management information, presenting at meetings and feeding back to the senior student recruitment manager and business managers as required
•Service line and sub-service line account management through:
oEngagement with senior stakeholders to understand specific business needs and develop the student strategy.
oRegular meetings with service line and business unit contacts to update on strategic direction; performance vs target to date and as well as deal with any internal issues that may arise
•Line management of relevant operations officer
•Support individual members of the student team through formal and informal counselling and coaching
•Working as part of the student management team in the day to day management of the student recruitment team - performance management, invoice and holiday approvals etc
•Responsible for effective management of aspects of the recruitment process, both through the HR Service Centre and the student operations team, for example: candidate management systems, post offer process; continuous improvement.
•Ensuring high standards of delivery at all times to both candidates and the business
•Support roll out of recruitment skills courses such as interviewer and assessor training as well as up-skilling new members of the team
•Travel as necessary within the UK to meet key contacts and build relationships with wider client serving teams
•Support continuous operational improvement through management and delivery of new recruitment projects or activities
•Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders

•Significant recruitment experience, skills and knowledge (ideally student recruitment) and able to manage high volume candidate pipeline

•Ideally educated to Degree level with qualification in Level A (Psychometric testing) and Level B (Personality questionnaires)
