Job Description


  • Responsible for all tax-related matters of Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI) and its subsidiaries and provides advisory services to other Chevron companies operating in the Philippines, in coordination with the Regional and Corporate Tax Offices

  • Responsible for the timely and accurate payment and filing of taxes and tax returns of CPI and its affiliates, including the preparation, reconciliation and detailed analysis of supporting data

  • Provide Tax advice to CPI and its affiliates / subsidiaries, particularly relating to tax compliance requirements of the BIR

  • Responsible for the proper handling of Tax Audits and Assessments

  • Responsible for the timely and accurate filing and payment of Business and Mayor's permits

  • Responsible for Securing BIR-related importation permits and documents

  • Creates or enhances existing processes, as well as implementation of new procedures, that will generate tax savings to CPI, subsidiaries and its affiliates

  • Serves as immediate back-up to other tax personnel and assumes other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Tax Manager



  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Accountancy or equivalent / Certified Public Accountant

  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience

  • Working knowledge in MS Office and SAP

  • Possesses excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong analytical, teamwork and engagement skills

  • Must have the propensity to work in a proactive, results-oriented, and focused environment

    Relocation Options:

    Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters. 

    International Considerations:

    Selected candidates will work in the Philippines under the local payroll system and benefits.
