Job Description

Purpose of the Role

Support the HRBC to create an environment where we successfully include, develop and engage our people in order to support the significant growth of the Tax practice:

►  Creating a development culture that has competitive advantage in attracting and retaining our people

►  Ensuring that EYU maximises the opportunity for engagement with our people

►  Supporting our global strategy of inclusiveness

►  Driving activity to achieve a leading people culture — one that drives a focus on teaming, values, diversity and entrepreneurial thinking


Strategy and communications

►  Assist HRBC to refine the MENA EYU strategy and ensure that EYU communications is successfully managed

►  Share new ideas and insights with competency leaders regarding how EYU can support the growth of their practice

►  Manage Tax EYU agenda in absence of HRBC

►  Manage communication about EYU in MENA Tax (e.g. be responsible for content of EYU CHS Tax pages and Tax Career Map for MENA)


►  Develop and drive implementation of facilitators excellence in MENA Tax

►  Work as part of a team to develop Service Line content for key milestone programs

►  Support Tax HRBC in various global and EMEIA initiatives, eg delivering on Tax learning curriculum from EMEIA inline with SSL leaders)

►  Co-facilitate at various MENA Train-the-Trainer events and potentially, facilitate at MENA Tax learning events


►  Work with the HRBC on a project to change behaviors in the business in relation to the use of experiences

►  Support deployment of R&D project across MENA Tax


►  Work with HRBC to drive coaching training into the business and to establish coaching networks


  • Strong understanding of the Tax Business
  • Experience in various L&D functions essential
  • Experience of learning delivery advantageous
  • Good project management skills (including ability to manage senior stakeholders)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications and influencing skills at all levels, including Partner
  • Experienced, pro-active, well-organized professional with the ability to prioritize issues and work effectively across Senior business stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a virtual team
  • Ability and willingness to work in a multicultural and diverse environment and flex style as appropriate (sensitivity to cultural differences).
  • Strong spoken and written English (non-native speakers: proficiency level 3; native speakers: proficiency level 5)
  • Location is flexible and can be based anywhere in MENA
