Job Description

  • Champion "Service Readiness" by using TMC applications defining new model arrival to ensure all deliverables are in place at Branch to service and support new models.

  • Provide and maintain the Service Information published deliverables to Branch network via TSI website. 

  • Identify a need for and develop (TSB) technical service bulletin field repairs for efficient resolution of issues with TOYOTA / LEXUS vehicles in operation for customer satisfaction and publish onto AFM Technical Intranet.

  • Interpret, produce and publish onto the AFM Tech Intranet TOYOTA / LEXUS "TI" and procedures as necessary in order to facilitate field repairs of known issues.

  • Grow the TECDB Technical Data Base by grooming cases for future repair reference by Branch.  Continuously define and recommend improvements for the Technical Data Base and Technical Case Management process.

  • Mange the Service Kaizen Request program and submissions by NTL counterparts.

  • Manage the SST program and recommend tools and equipment to resolve challenges involving component service performance and service issues in real world service environments

  • Provide lateral support to TOYOTA / LEXUS Customer Relations staff for automotive technical consumer questions and service information issues
  • Requirements


    • Professional training or experience in Automotive Technology, Bachelors of Science degree in a technical discipline or formal training from an OEM.
    • College or University graduate or 3 years in a professional automotive operation or OEM environment.
    • Ability to communicate and publish repair and diagnostic information.
    • Previous automotive repair experience, automotive electrical or mechanical repair hands on experience and technical aptitude in all vehicle systems
    • Understand automotive on-board diagnostic scantools and equipment capability for ECU software re-flash updates and CAN diagnostic communication and data collection.
    • Microsoft office and internet proficiency, advanced computer literacy
    • Excellent technical communication skills, verbal and written
    • Highly flexible, attention to detail and organizational skills a must


    • Diploma or University Degree
    • Applicant is required to be an Automotive Technical person.
    • A strong interest in Distributor Automotive Business is recommended.
    • Publications and Authoring experience.
    • Strong PC Skills, MS Office complete suite: Excel, MS PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc
    • Must have Driver’s License
