Job Description

The Test Service Integration Lead is primarily responsible for ensuring that the services provided in conjunction with our strategic partners are in compliance with the Quality Assurance Group's processes, standards and best practices. The Test Service Integration Lead contributes to the continued enhancement of the QA Group's processes, standards and best practices. This position reports directly Quality Assurance Group Manager, and will primarily oversee the Software Quality Assurance group engagements in the Asia including Australia Business Unit.

Manage test team work effort and allocation throughout test planning, preparation and execution for a project or runtime engagement.(35% of role). 
Collaborate with application support teams to ensure that defect tracking is properly addressed and documented for metrics purposes. (20% of role)
Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations inclusive of vendors and sub-contractors.(15% of role)
Ensure adherence to QA Group quality requirements and escalate issues to the Quality Assurance Lead for resolution.(15% of role)
Ensure that QA Group Metrics are captured and reported to QA Group PMO for consolidation and reporting.(15% of role)


Manage Project Test Leads to ensure project/service delivery according to project agreements and quality standards.

Ability to manage all aspects of the software quality assurance within a project, including providing overall guidance and direction to the project and overseeing the TCOE engagement for the Project.

Collaborate with Project Test Leads on engagement (project or runtime) approach, staffing, responsibilities, and schedule

Coordinate, develop and/or review project estimates and estimating assumptions during the project initiation phase for the project or operational schedule, effort, and cost using established estimating models, best practices, and past experience. The resulting estimates account for all activities in the project scope, including project management and application development tasks, as well as software quality assurance reviews.

Ensure that all Quality Assurance Group Metrics are captured by the Project Test Lead or Quality Analyst assigned and subsequently reported to the Quality Assurance Group's Project Management Office.

Review, and be responsible for, the overall development and integration of requirements.

Measure and monitor progress at clearly defined points in the process to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and that it meets or exceeds expectations. Balance scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks.

Ensure that all Quality Assurance Group engagements follow all quality assurance standards.

Participate in quality management reviews with the Project/Operations Manager.

Review and manage changes in the requirements through a formally defined scope change process. 

Manage scope commitments and agreements across TCoE projects.

Ensure that the project's assigned portion of the Business Case planned value is delivered.

Responsible for providing leadership and management of end to end test project delivery with a focus on strategic testing processes and procedures to ensure testing activities are on time and within budget.

Assist in staffing and resourcing across test initiatives.

Coordinates all software quality assurance activities for a runtime support engagement or project.

Responsible for ensuring that software quality assurance best practices are utilized and that the test services are performed in the most efficient and effective manner possible while meeting all quality objectives. 

Ability to manage all aspects of the software quality assurance within a project, including providing overall guidance and direction to the project and overseeing the TCOE engagement for the Project. 

Responsibilities also include modification to the test approach and test plan; the capture of all relevant data for SQA metrics, risk-based testing assessments, resource evaluation and the coordination of external TCOE service personnel.


Required Qualifications:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent

3 plus years of experience in software quality assurance practices, projects and/or operational engagements.

Broad experience in test planning, test execution, and utilizing relevant testing metrics. 

Ability to analyze wide range of problems, assess risks/benefits of alternatives. 

Preferred Qualifications:
Experienced in Testing Tools Suite use and application such as HP Quality Center/ALM, HP Quick Test Pro and/or Performance Center (Loadrunner) and IBM Rationale Suite of Testing tools.
Professional certifications such as:
Certified Software Quality Analyst
Certified Software Test Engineer
Or some other professional software quality assurance or testing certification.
