Job Description

• Supports the Senior Training Specialist to identify the training needs, produces the annual Training Plan in coordination with Divisions/ Departments to achieve the Company objectives.
• Implements the approved plan, covering in-house, local and overseas courses, internal programmes, attachments, IT applications, English language courses, summer and work placement students.
• Liaises regularly with Training provider to obtain quotations via formal correspondence.
• Reviews, analyses and compares quotations received. Selects those offering less cost and best meet the requirements of the Company.
• Organizes Internal, In-House, Local & Overseas Training Activities. Ensures adequate resources, facilities and all requirements are available and sufficient for a successful training sessions.
• Coordinates the analysis and evaluation of the immediate and long-term effectiveness of all training and development activities provided.
• Investigates studies and compares Training Needs Survey, Training Records, OTA, Job Description and Performance Appraisals, and recommends specific training programmes and courses to the Divisions and Departments.
• Establishes quality standards to evaluate both in-house and external training and development provisions to improve the existing standards through the use of ISO, networking with Company’ Group, to ensure that existing methods are in line with best practices.
• Co-ordinates with other staff within HRD as necessary to identify and implement training solutions for Company staff and coordinates with the Departments for the provision of more specialized courses for their staff.
• Supervises the administration of all assigned training programs, orientation, internal, external attachment programmes both local and overseas to ensure that all are in accordance with applied procedures. Prepares Reports and maintains updated records.
• Participates with supervisor the review and revision of policies and ISO work procedures as necessary. Reviews training material and proposals to ensure that the quality meets Company training need objectives.
• Prepares and follows up orientation programs for new employees. Co-ordinates and organizes internal and external work placements and attachment programs for trainees and summer vacation trainees.
• Facilitates their requirements and maintains regular contact with the colleges and universities to ensure positive results for students.


• Bachelor in Human Resources Training or equivalent.
• Additional qualification in Training & Development or Human Resource Development is an advantage.
• 5 years related experience in similar job preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and advisory skills, Good orientation about Middle East culture.
• Computer user, with knowledge of Windows packages, able to use required applications.
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken English and Arabic.
• UAE Driving license.
