Job Description

As a Transfer Pricing Compliance Manager you will perform a range of international transfer pricing compliance to support the effective management of BAT’s tax transfer pricing standards and documentation in a challenging and dynamic global environment.

You will also provide pro-active, high quality specialist expertise to execute transfer pricing documentation across different areas of inter-company pricing within a diverse international Group operating across 180 markets. You will also assist in providing supporting evidence of benefit received to support pricing internationally.


  • Advise on specific aspects of tax transfer pricing compliance and tax management
  • Execute specialist transfer pricing activities following agreed global standard processes and frameworks
  • Produce a portfolio of global, regional and local transfer pricing documentation across both OECD and non OECD markets and a wide range of transactions including services, royalties, product flow and financing
  • In depth understanding of the Group’s transfer pricing policies, commercial, operations and corporate structure
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement with regard to transfer pricing management processes and systems
  • Keep up to date with tax law changes globally that will impact the business and make recommendations in respect of such changes as it affects both the business and the documentation
  • Act as a proactive business partner to identify opportunities for enhancing transfer pricing effectiveness and efficiencies
  • Requirements

    •  Professional accountancy and tax qualifications (ACA /ADIT preferred)
    • In depth knowledge/experience of transfer pricing
    • Effective working relationships with tax authorities
    • Influencing and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent tax technical knowledge
    • Experience in global organisation ideally FMCG
