Truck Fleet Maintenance Manager Job Description
*A Truck Fleet Maintenance Manager plays an administrative as well as a technical role in a company.
*An individual in this role is responsible for the service, maintenance and upkeep of the fleet of all the trucks.
*Transport companies, manufacturing units, warehouses and other such facilities, primarily hire such individuals.
*Persons in this profile are also essential to handle and manage a team of subordinates.
Duties and Responsibilities
*Performing scheduled checks on all of the transport trailer vehicles.
*Ensuring regular servicing and maintenance of all trucks of the establishment.
*Maintaining a service and maintenance record of all vehicles.
*Assigning work areas and tasks to subordinates and ensuring the timely completion of the same.
*Coordinating with the purchase department for spare parts and other repair equipments.
*Complying with all safety norms and industry regulations for all work processes.
*Ensuring the appropriate usage and handling of testing tools and repair equipments.
*Test driving vehicles to ensure that they are functioning appropriately.
Skills and Specifications
*Should have good written and verbal communication skills.
*Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines.
*Should have the ability to effectively lead and manage a team of subordinates.
*Should understand and efficiently complete all delegated tasks.
Education and Qualifications
*High School degree, diploma qualification from a recognized institution.
*Bachelor’s degree or an associate’s degree in mechanical or automobile engineering, or any other related field of study with
