Job Description

The American University of Nigeria, Yola, is seeking a TV/Documentary Producer/Broadcast News Reporter. This position is a local one open to indigenous and/or legal residents of Nigeria.

The TV/Documentary Producer/Broadcast News Reporter is responsible for coverage, high professionalizing, voice over and productive contribution to the unit and departments goal attainment. These duties are carried out in accordance to AUN policies and procedures. The position reports directly to the Communications manager.


Position Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication or related field from a recognized tertiary institution.
  • At least two (2) years post-qualification experience
  • Must have practical experience working in TV production
  • Experience in writing broadcast news
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
