Job Description

  • Support World Class Learning through the design and development of global and regional learning material (technical or non-technical) for classroom and virtual delivery
  • Facilitate EMEIA and Regional learning events (technical or non-technical)
  • Work with UK&I People Development team leader (SL aligned) and course managers to ensure high quality deployment of Technical/FW learning in line with the UK&I deployment model
  • Programme manage a group of courses, or course manage specific complex courses, with responsibility for the overall UK&I strategy of delivery and deployment of that programme or course
  • Hold and maintain strong relationships with the business, directly within the service lines.  For example, with EMEIA and Global Learning teams, resourcing, operations, Learning Champions, Q&RM/PPD, Subject Matter Experts, People Leaders, SL clients or External learning providers
  • Actively drive EYU in the business and act as an adviser to the business on all aspects of EYU (learning, experiences and coaching)
  • You will be aligned to a SL or FWL team for c.70% of your time and it is expected that the remainder of your time will be spent working on learning for other SL or FWL teams or on other People Development initiatives
  • Lead and/or contribute to EYU and Learning initiatives (both Service Line and Firm wide) across the UK&I region and Globally
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the UK&I Learning Deployment Operating Model and ensure it is applied consistently
  • Provide leadership and build motivation within the team, acting as a role model
  • Coach and support the People Development Learning Deployment Consultants  (L2) to increase their knowledge, skills and competence within their role
  • Responsible for the operational line management of Learning Deployment Consultants and Coordinators (L1) (working with the Learning Deployment Senior Consultants), including portfolio planning and management of direct reports
  • Counselling of Learning Deployment Consultants
  • Support the recruitment and induction of Learning Deployment Consultants
  • Support the UK&I People Development function by undertaking other operational activities, for example, management of the GSS relationship, Finance activities and budgetary responsibilities, and management of external suppliers etc
  • Management of communications and newsletters
  • Be the first point of contact for People Development queries from your service line


  • A desire to embrace and lead change
  • A background and experience in learning, including content design, facilitation and/or programme/course management
  • Track record of maintaining strong business relationships
  • Experience in learning deployment, coordination, coaching, counselling and managing the day to day activities of direct reports
  • Excellent man-management, coaching and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with an attention to detail and an ability to deliver to deadlines
  • A strong track record in business relationship management
  • Proactive problem solver and creative thinker
  • Ability to interact well with people at all levels within the firm (from Partner down)
