Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day procurement tasks within agreed Turn around time
  • Develop and manage tracking methodology for proposals, vendor on-boarding requests and vendor complaints.
  • Develop and manage tracking methodology for contracts and service provider/level agreements.
  • Develop and manage tracking methodology for vendor performance review.
  • Review, update and action on vendor on-boarding requests on remedy.
  • Expedite approval flow to ensure quick closure of vendor registration requests.
  • Obtain RFPs for Goods or Services in all sourcing categories.
  • Resolve queries in a professional manner.
  • Communicate time frames to resolve queries.
  • Vendor requests/invoices to be resolved within SLA.
  • Monitor vendor delivery timelines in accordance with Purchase orders and contracts.
  • Source new vendors;
  • Receive specification from the business unit and check with Sourcing and Expense Control to find appropriate suppliers.
  • Activate on-boarding of new vendors as specified.

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders
  • Provide regular updates relating to vendor management – on boarding, conflict resolution and performance reviews.
  • Ownership and accountability for associated vendor requests until goal is fulfilled.
  • Educate Business on vendor management policy, processes, systems and governance.

  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures of Stanbic IBTC
  • Optimisation of Internal Processes, reduction of risk.
  • Establish and maintain robust seamless process for vendor management
  • Ensure compliance with the use of available sourcing processes and channels
