Job Description

Role Purpose

  • The main role would be focused on providing a coordinated effort and technical expertise in delivering Vodafone Telecom Management services to VGE (Vodafone Global Enterprise) customers.
  • Acting as a technical lead an a subject matter expert in E-Statement services and telecom services.

Key Accountabilities and Decision ownership

  • Ensure good communication flow between team members on project level. Ensure entire teams are regularly updated on the big picture on what has been achieved and delivered within the acquired account
  • Arrange regular Review meeting to track progress against plan and drive for mitigation where needed.
  • Raise any issues/challenges / risks facing the solutions projects with the steering committee and cascade down to the project team with any new decisions or changes
  • Early Identification for any deviations in the project plan or during implementation so we can have fast corrective actions
  • Think of creative approaches beyond the normal ones to ease any complexities facing the project launch date.
  • Master range of technologies to analyze data and produce detailed insight reports for business customers to support decision-making
  • Work closely with modelling and Data Management team members within VIS or Business customers environment for building the new models that serves the business requests
  • Comply with Vodafone governance policies, Business Intelligence Standards, Data Standards and Data Warehouse Methods and Procedures in the delivery
  • Good statistical analysis background
  • Good dimensional modelling and report design/definition

Core Competencies, Knowledge and Experience

  • Coordinate a virtual project team consists of different work streams (Steering Committee, Commercial, GSMs, Technology, Operations, Program Managers) and also working closely with customer solutions.
  • Technical background ideally within Managed Services and IT outsourcing industry. Knowledge of the following – Systems management platforms, service management solution, ITIL.
  • Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to deliver technical presentations competently.
  • Must be commercially aware, able to identify & effectively communicate commercial opportunities.

Requirements
Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years business experience is required
  • 1+ Year GSOC experience is plus
  • HTML web Coding is a must
  • SQL basic Knowledge
  • ITIL Certification or course attendance is a plus
  • PMP Certification or course attendance is a plus

  • Understands application business area and application requirements.
  • Familiar with test-program concerns including test data management, trouble reporting and resolution, test design, and test development.
  • Familiar with different test tools, defect-tracking tools, and other tools that supports the testing life cycle Perform test execution, including functional (front-end and back-end), regression and integration tests

  • Advanced MS excel is required.
  • Excellent in communication and interpersonal skills

Key Performance Indicators

  • Produces consistent documentation required and quick reference cards can be used for the BAU transition (Working instruction).
  • Design learning tools to facilitate content implementation and issue resolution (language requirements are flexible, we use whatever is the best tool for the job)..
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert in their applicable field.
