Job Description

  • Coordinate inbound/outbound shipment activities.
  • Monitor and direct flow and/or movement of parts to ensure dock rotation and availability.
  • Monitor receipts, put-away and picking procedures as deemed necessary, and instituting a consistent flow to assure a productive environment for warehouse staff.
  • Acting in the capacity of the Warehouse Supervisor and/or Manager during the Warehouse Supervisor’s and/or Manager’s absence.
  • Ensuring that the “Warehouse Commitment to Service” is upheld.
  • Overseeing the proper processing of daily orders, spreading workload among the warehouse personnel and directing work groups including inbound loads.
  • Overseeing the scanner and computer operations for compliance with Company procedures.
  • Preparing and monitoring the methods used for unloading and loading, including proper safety handling procedures.
  • Directing, auditing and confirming Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) methods based on Warehouse function.
  • Ensuring that the warehouse and outside areas are kept clean and neat, depicting a professional image at all times. This includes assigning and delegating clean up zones as needed.
  • Monitor packaging material supplies and notify the Supervisor when materials get to the restocking point.
  • Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.

  • Education: College level or College graduate
  • Experience:  Minimum 3-5 years in similar position
