Job Description

  • Curating content for O2.co.uk, ensuring the content is always relevant, fresh, new, engaging, and customer focussed.
  • Working with internal and external teams to source content assets, including ,content artwork, video and live feeds.
  • Supporting the production process, working with internal and external suppliers as required
  • Working with internal teams to agree aims, objectives and desired results of each new piece of content.
  • Supporting the Senior Web Editor in development and implementation of a calendar of content experiences against the marketing hierarchy.
  • Supporting the Senior Web Editor in developing and implementing editorial styles and standards.
  • Collaborating with content owners to ensure compliance with editorial standards and SEO best practices.
  • Working closely with the Community manager to curate conversation
  • Carrying out competitor analysis and study best practise in web editorial.


  • Extensive experience as a web editor, mobile web experience desirable.
  • Experience of using a CMS.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral are essential.
  • Demonstrable ability to undertake research using a variety of sources to come up with innovative content solutions.
  • Creative, and able to alter their style of writing to reflect their audience & product/ service.
  • Experience scoping new projects, using web analytics and benchmarking to identify new content opportunities, and presenting confidently to senior managers.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, and meet deadlines with some supervision.
  • Have a strong knowledge of how to drive community through conversation. Understanding of the impact of content on SEO, and the importance of testing.
  • Extraordinary attention to process and detail.
  • Thorough familiarity with common editorial style guides.
  • Basic HTML skills desirable.
