Job Description

Management Reporting Collate information from all well engineering disciplines and issue well engineering management reports as required. 

WEDM2 (Data & Performance Management System) Provide ad-hoc Primavera support to the Business Centre (TVP) as required Influence close alignment of WEDM2 with Global IAPS Well & Rig Schedule Manage the data entry / updates to schedule, ensuring correct coding applied and plan is baselined. 

FR Tracking (Functional Review Tracking) Manage the updating and entry of all well information within the Well Demographics Form, ensuring completion on time by the end of each month Wellview (Well Engineering Daily Reporting & Well History System) Operate at expert level in the use and customisation of the Wellview application Recognised as the Europe E&P Subject Matter Expert (SME) in providing database support as follows: Gathering, coordinating and monitoring input of Rushmore data for ongoing DPR, CPR & IPR Reporting Generation of Well Intervention Scorecards Develop, implement & monitor a data QC process Interface with CLIENT on improving data quality & database utilisation Develop an interface between cost estimates and cost tracking in Wellview Create asset specific ad-hoc reports, queries and produce EOJ & EOW Reports as required Support end users with data entry issues within Europe E&P Document Management Perform data steward duties for access and managing security permissions of the following drive; H:"Well Engineering. Liaise with Admin Support to develop and maintain a Europe E&P information management process. Rig/Vessel IT Setup Support Develop and maintain a Rig/Vessel supply & setup support process for all Europe E&P Operations in conjunction with IT Team. 

Integrated Planning Focal point for all Well Engineering plans and liaise with functional & asset stakeholders, plan owners and management. Provide Primavera P6 application support to all Well Engineering personnel Ensure business continuity & risks are recognised and managed Develop, maintain and own Level 4 (TCP – Track, Coordinate & Plan) plans and integrate into overall Well Engineering Plans through IAPS processes Produce Well Engineering planning KPIs and communicate on a monthly basis. Use KPIs to identify and address business process shortfalls. Monitor and report on plan progress and shortfalls. 

Maximo Manage Well Engineering Work Request / Work Order workflows. Interface with GWMS / Operations to ensure correct allocation of Work Order functions and GL Coding. Generate analysis reports to ensure quality of data, workflow progress and process compliance, including: Management of backlog execution and monitoring Maintenance of PM content, Job Plans and scheduling iWIT (Well Integrity Monitoring / Management System) Manage user access and support the Europe E&P Well Interventions Team in maintaining the database. Liaise with CLIENT to create asset specific report templates Develop, implement and monitor data QC process Wellmaster (Well Completion Equipment Reliability Database) Support the Europe E&P Well Engineering Team in maintaining the database EDM & Peak P1 (Well Engineering Application Toolkit) Liaise with CLIENT to ensure individual user access to applications 


Demonstrable experience in provision of technical administrative support to an oil & gas technical team, preferably Well Engineering.

Experience of working within an Integrated Planning Environment – familiar with planning processes. Preferably an expert user of an Integrated Planning System such as Primavera P6.

Experience of working with data within a CMMS Application such as Maximo. Ability to extract and analysis data contained with the system.

Experience of a Well Reporting System such as Wellview. 

Experience of using and manipulating a Well Integrity Monitoring/Management System such as iWIT. 

Self-Motivated and structured individual with good inter-personnel skills 

Work well within a multi-cultural team (team based in Norway & Aberdeen)

Languages – English

Willing to travel if required between offices in Norway & Aberdeen

A basic understanding of Well Engineering (drilling, completions & interventions) is preferable. 

About the organization 

Provide technical support, planning services and deliverables for all Well Engineering activities with the Europe E&P organisation. 

General services will be production of schedules, histograms, s-curves and any other services that the Well Engineering Team need to control, monitor and forecast work within the group.

Provide support of the implementation, training and ongoing maintenance/administration of Well Engineering applications including Wellview, WEDM2, IWit & Maximo.

Provide assistance with Well Operations data entry and reporting across the lifecycle of the well including Rushmore. 

Provide assistance with the management of electronic document control for Europe E&P Well Engineering.
