As a Workshop Operative, you will be responsible for overseeing our client's workshop in Gloucestershire. The workshop's function is to engineer and maintain specialist lifting equipment which enables independence within customers' homes.
Maintaining good housekeeping standards and stock levels in the company workshop, you will assist in the pivotal preparation of equipment for installation. As part of the role, you may also be occasionally required to collect equipment from suppliers and deliver it to installation sites.
As part of your role, you may be required to undertake occasional on-site work.
To be considered, you must have previous workshop experience, ideally within an electro-mechanical environment. A driving licence is also essential.
As a Workshop Operative, you must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with people at all levels. Personable and organised, you must possess a polite, presentable and professional approach at all times.
Previous experience gained within the mobility sector would be beneficial to your application.
Please note, this role involves heavy lifting and manual labour activities. Additionally, due to the nature of the role, candidates will also be required to undergo a DBS (formally a CRB) check.
