Job Summary

The multi-channel AD will be responsible for managing the account and the day-to-day delivery of campaigns, ensuring that work is on brief, on time and profitable. The AD will plan and run high profile campaigns as autonomously and profitably as possible and will also provide support and development opportunities to help team members. There will be two direct reports (a Senior Account Manager and an Account Executive) and the role reports into a Group Account Director 

Job Responsibilites


  • Developing solid business relationships with clients through regular and pro-active contact
  • Determine how best the clients’ brief can be met in consultation with the team and with Sapient’s planning team.
  • Monitor workflow through the team and the agency and make recommendations for modifications where appropriate
  • Actively contribute to all meetings attended, with support from the Group Account Director, both internally and externally.
  • Attend regular client status/monthly meetings and review status and contact reports
  • Manage work flow and deliver best practices with respect to Account Management, and ensure all team adhere to same
  • Liaise closely with the Planning Department to understand the competitive environment and to prepare documents and briefings with insight and compelling propositions
  • Encourage creatives to develop work in line with required strategic direction
  • Provide ongoing support and training to junior team members to help them achieve their objectives
Job Requirements

Personal specification:

  • Graduate calibre with min 5+ years agency experience
  • Good understanding of the agency/creative/production processes
  • Effective project manager and ability to delegate as required
  • Confident and self-motivated
  • High levels of commercial acumen and the ability to manage all financial aspects of projects.
  • An appreciation of the best practice principles in Direct Response advertising
  • Tact, diplomacy, maturity in relating and interacting with people at all levels

Reports to: Group Account Director 

Supervision of: Senior Account Manager and Account Manager
