Job Summary

Emerson Climate Technologies are looking for a strong Business Development Manager to organize and lead a team of sales management and technical support personnel. This role is designed to establish a sales strategy resulting in a strong local presence for Vilter equipment in the Industrial Refrigeration and Hydrocarbon Processing market segments in the Middle East & Africa Region and to support the overall Emerson Climate technology growth initiatives. 

Job Responsibilites

The successful candidate will: 
• Lead engagement with Contractors, End Users & Consultants for Industrial Refrigeration in the Middle East & Africa Region
• Build relationships with local oil and gas compressor packagers, end-users, and EPC companies
• Evaluate existing channels to market, identify new business opportunities and /or channels to market
• Conduct product seminars and training
• Create differentiation (product, solutions, service) and application based presentations based on regional preferences
• Provide regular updates of account activity, visit results, and sales progress vs. targets
• Communicate competitive activities, market issues and solutions 
• Maintain active Project Pursuit for both Industrial Refrigeration and Hydrocarbon processing
• Identify training and support activities for team members and customers
• Conduct Monthly and annual reporting functions
• Identify and develop organization for future growth and expansion of roles and responsibilities

• Must be fluent in English 
• Arabic language skills would be an advantage
• A minimum of five years working in a similar role within Industrial Refrigeration
• University Degree in a related field
• Technical knowledge of Industrial Refrigeration
