BI development for multiple technical projects running in parallel
Provide technical oversight to consultant partnersParticipation in design and technical task planning sessions
Present technical solutions to technical and business partner stakeholders
Develop/lead/review KPI’s, Dashboards, drill through and drill down reports on different BI reporting tool suites
Define and create data dictionary, and data mapping documents
Demonstrate creative ideas in solving business opportunities/challenges
Experience in driving best practices, design patterns and reference implementations.
Strong understanding of OLAP database (especially dimensional and 3NF) structures, theories, principles, and practices
Experience with BI Platform architecture and ability to balance between strategic design vs tactical needs and ability to prioritize and execute quick proof of concepts, evaluation of emerging BI tool sets and evangelize the findings
Strong preference for Agile and SCRUM methodologies and development expertiseDeveloping technology specifications and ensuring that new technology solutions are designed for optimal access and usefulness, and leveraging existing technologies when possible
Experience working in complex projects with multi-tier architecture.Handles special projects and delivery as assigned
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, or equivalent
At least 3-5 years of solid BI/data warehousing development experience in a technical environment.
Demonstrated experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Spotfire, MS Power View etc.), python and java scripts
Experience working with technologies such as but not limited to Crystal Reports, Business Objects Webi &Dashboards, Qlikview, Tableau, or other similar Business Intelligence reporting technologies.
SQL development skills – MS SQL, Oracle or Teradata
Experienced in database query performance, fine tuning and optimization
Complete understanding of the business intelligence development life cycle including the ability to conduct interviews for requirement gathering.
Exposure to statistical research techniques, including modeling, data mining, clustering and segmentation
Excellent interpersonal and communication kills
Excellent understanding BI trends and best practices in the marketplace
Strong networking skills and ability to work across multiple organizations to accomplish diverse goals for a world-class global organization
Ability to independently research and solve complex technical problems.
Ability to quickly learn new technical skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively present to the target audience.
Must be detail orientated/articulate with excellent time management and organizational skills

Agile or Six Sigma a plus
