  • There is currently a vacancy for an application support analyst within the Equities Derivatives business-aligned support team, facing off directly to the Front and Middle Office groups.  The successful individual will be a self-starter who is confident and highly motivated to succeed.  They will gain exposure to a range of derivative products and related technology systems.
  • The team is situated near to the business they support, working closely with the Front Office and Middle Office on a day-to-day basis.  Using detailed knowledge of business processes and applications, team members take ownership, diagnose and solve problems relating to trading, risk management and P&L.
  • The applications supported concern the full-life cycle including reference data, trade input, risk management and P&L applications

Job Requirements

  • Develop a specialization and expertise in equity derivative products and front office trading applications.
  • Act as first point of contact to diagnose and resolve issues raised by the business as part of a Level1 team.
  • Liaise with colleagues and other teams within the IB technology group to drive enhancements to technology requested by the business.
  • Above all, the role involves a high degree of interaction with the front and middle office in addition to building close relationships with other areas of the investment bank including Quantitative Research, Business Analysts and Application Development teams.
