Job Summary

We are hiring a Civil Engineer who will perform a variety of professional civil and Structural engineering work in the operation, design, construction, maintenance for Building project.

Job Responsibilites

It is envisaged that the right individual will have a broad understanding of all aspects of Civil Engineering

  • Supervision of contractor and control of quality on a daily basis. Review of contractor’s material, shop drawing and method statement submissions for conformance with contract documents
  • Ensure that works are constructed in accordance with the design and contract documentation
  • Liaison with the client, contractor and design consultant representatives.
  • Review engineering calculations of other engineers or engineering technicians. Compile report, and prepare graphs and table, of utility operations.
  • Assist in preparation of daily, weekly and monthly progress reports
  • Attend inspections to ensure that works are constructed in accordance with the contract documentation and method statements
  • Liaison with the contractor on all construction related matters

    Job Requirements/Qualifications/Experience:

  • Engineering Degree (preferably Civil) with over 10 years relevant experience in the construction supervision of Civil Works, including but not limited to piling, excavation, dewatering, utilities relocation and installation, roads and asphalt construction.
  • Significant relevant experience on site, ideally on large scale building projects in the Middle East
  • Experience of filling, piling, excavation, dewatering, working on steel and concrete structures, mechanical and electrical systems coordination
  • Experienced in multi disciplines related to site development, utilities relocation and installation, roads and asphalt construction
  • Needs a clear understanding of the Client focused approach.
