Job Summary

 Provide account management for a portfolio of 20+ international Key Client teams.

● Guide and coach members of the MBD team internationally who have responsibility for account management: contributing proactively to the ongoing sharing of best practice

● Contribute proactively to / manage discrete projects relating to the Key Client Programme

Job Responsibilites

1. Account Management for Key Client teams

● Account management support for portfolio, driving spread of work and revenue growth

● Coach and support partner-led Key Client teams to manage client relationships

● Ensure minimum standards of Client Management activity: plans, client reviews, etc

● Identify opportunities for new business and drive action to realise these

● Work with Accounts to improve profitability & pricing

● Promote understanding and use of the elements of our Client Service toolkit


2. Share Key Account Management best practice

● Lead, coach & direct identified members of the MBD team in their account management activities, identifying issues & concerns, sharing best practice and successes


3. Key Client Projects

● Contribute proactively to the ongoing development of the Client Management toolkit

● Contribute success stories for internal and external communications

Job Requirements

Powers of communication:

● Excellent English written skills, another European language preferable

● Strong interpersonal and communication skills

● Strong project management skills

● Understands clients’ priorities and objectives and provides proactive solutions and manages expectations in line with these


People Management

● Experience of mentoring team members, including providing support and direction with day-to-day tasks and career direction


Technical and professional qualifications

● Demonstrable experience and achievement in account management role(s)

● 5 years' experience in key account management within the legal sector

● Degree educated or equivalent

● Advance MSOffice skills, in particular MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
