Job Summary

Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service

Oversee allocation and upkeep of all housing, warehouse and furniture inventories.

Accurately administrate rental and leasing process including sourcing new accommodation.

Effectively manage annual housing budget, expenses and assets.

Develop and implement housing strategies aimed at attracting talented hospitality professionals.

Coach, develop and train the Colleague Residence Caretaker.

Supervise the day-to-day operations and administration of the Housing office.

Ensure each new resident is provided with a superior living experience.

Liaise with Maintenance and Security to ensure a healthy and safe living environment.

Uphold policies outlined by Housing LSOP and Residential Lease agreements.

Coordinate all bookings for Colleague transportation requirements for colleague events, outings and to and from housing

Ensure safety and security of Colleague transportation.

Play an integral role in warm welcome and arrival process for all Colleagues and Managers.

Provide a high level of colleague satisfaction through effective problem resolution

Directly participate on and/or mentor a colleague who contributes to a Hotel Committee.

Adhere to all environmental practices and implement creative ideas for new initiatives.

Create and implement action plans to ensure Colleague engagement as outlined by CES.

Is actively involved in Colleague Relations including colleague activities and outings

In conjunction with the HR team, actively maintains all annual brand colleague events such as staff summer event, annual year end event and long service awards

Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Minimum two years experience as a Residence Manager or similar position

Knowledge of Fairmont brand standards an asset

Enthusiastic and energetic with proven abilities to creatively resolve issues

Must hold a valid driver’s license

Ability to work within flexible hours

Able to work in a fast paced environment, inviting and championing change

Ability to effectively and positively manage challenging situations

Must be detail oriented, highly organized and self-directed

Able to build effective relationships with peers, Colleagues and suppliers

Exceptional communication skills

Previous leadership experience an asset

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite a must
