Job Summary

  • Developing the CSOC fluency, performance and training of the BU CSOC practitioners
  • Deployment of CSOC tools and process across all Asset Teams
  • Facilitation of standing Decision Review Board (DRB) meetings, e.g. CUE monthly Strategic DRB meetings
  • Application of CSOC principles throughout the organization with measurable results, and annual CSOC assessment, and look backs
  • Liaise with the CUE CSOC Management Sponsor and CUE Leadership Team (LT) to articulate CUE CSOC strategies and objectives, development of tools and processes, coordination of CUE CSOC network
  • Administration of organization's progress on the CSOC Supreme and Regular Certification program
  • Improvement of practitioners’ ability to screen and select applicable best practices and lessons learned and communicate throughout the SBU
  • Development and conduct of learning events, communication and sharing of best practices and learnings
  • Act as a resource to project managers, CSOC network, DRBs and extended LT for facilitation, coaching, mentoring related to CSOC activities
  • Job Requirements

  • Fluency and practical knowledge of CSOC - proven project management & CSOC experience
  • Demonstrated understanding and use of CSOC Tools- especially for small projects to use in a fit-for-purpose method to drive improved decision quality
  • Familiar with CSOC Gold Standard Assessments, data collection requirements, and tracking of performance
  • Experience in applying CPDEP principles to projects, capturing and sharing lessons learned and performing look backs
  • Leadership Skills - demonstrated ability to establish and communicate clear, concise, and understandable guidance and direction (written and verbally)
  • Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization and fosters cooperation and collaboration among individuals and groups
  • Ability to interact and influence projects and CUE leadership, facilitate DRB meetings, and promote decision quality
  • Able to teach several CSOC Leadership Roles & Behaviours classes and lead CSOC certification sessions
  • Ability to work with Teams on a variety of projects to define critical CSOC gaps and show the teams how to use various CSOC tools to address those gaps
  • Experience in leading change and shaping performance

    Preferred Qualifications:
  • CSOC Supreme Certified
  • Candidates who have previous experience in economic analysis, GO-36 preparation, corporate reporting, and upstream business activities are preferred, but the role can be modified as needed, to provide development of these skills
