Job Summary

• Establishing a common retail marketing strategy for EM EMEA retail segment (availability & visibility) broken down by region / by key country
• Implementation of the retail marketing strategy in key named retailers across EM EMEA
• Development & implementation of efficient retail marketing programs & rebates structure across named retailers in EM EMEA
• Coordination with global brand functions to implement global / regional marketing campaigns
• Development & implementation of retail promoter training & performance tracking programs
• Expansion of retail footprint in key identified markets across EM EMEA
• Cross functional leadership & engagement with sales / marketing / finance etc to align and drive initiatives to completion & success (sell-in/sell-out/promo spend/budget planning etc)
• Drive retail cycle / quarterly product line ups in coordination with merchandising & sales management
• Successfully launch new platforms in retail so that this channel becomes the ‘show case’ for latest greatest technologies and halo platforms
• Drive accountability across retail marketing teams in EM EMEA
• Ensure excellence in planning, management & operational execution
• Implement a planning cadence with key retailers on assortment strategy / targets (sell-in / sell-out) as well as QBRs
• Drive profitable growth with focus on MPB / HPB as well as profit pools such as S&P / Alienware
• Proactively monitor GfK / IDC / retailer sell out data to optimize sales performance and capture opportunities in specific retailers for unit/margin growth
• Manage & maximize retail relationships with partners such as Intel / Microsoft / nVidia / AMD to drive initiatives / funding / growth
• Maintain a ‘can do’ attitude & hands on approach - be part of the wider team and actively contribute in an optimistic manner

Job Requirements

This is a management role which required 10+ years of experience in dealing with large format retail across diverse geographies.  The successful candidate should have very strong communication skills and be proficient in leading a virtual team across geographies and cultures.  A major KPI will be the development of a retail marketing vision and BMS across our key E6 countries (UAE / KSA / Poland / Russia / S Africa / Turkey) to implement a coordinated & harmonized marketing approach to retail.
