Job Summary

We are currently recruiting a Global Assistant Brand Manager.The Foods category is formed from Savoury, Spreads and Dressings categories. At this moment we have a global brand development job available in Savoury for our global team in London.

The Savoury category is a 5 Billion Euro growing business and one of the largest Unilever Categories. The Savoury category aims to win globally in Soups and Cooking Products. Knorr is their flagship brand which has offerings in Soups, Boullions, Sauces, Noodles, Gravies and other meal solutions. Knorr products are enjoyed by 320 million people every day - all still carry the iconic signature of Carl Heinrich Knorr, with whom it all began. 

The Brand Development Department is responsible for the growth of our Unilever Brands through brand-driven innovation, renovation of current core portfolio and brilliant implementation of NPD platforms. As the Assistant Brand Manager you will support the Brand Manager to lead the development and execution of the market plans. 


As a Global Assistant Brand Manager you will be responsible for;

  • Assisting in developing the marketing goals and marketing plans

  • Assisting in developing and executing activity plan

  • Constantly review category performance for ongoing improvement

  • Manage NPD and re-launches
  • Job Requirements


  • Master degree or equivalent in Marketing & Communications

  • Proven Brand Development experience: managing innovations from idea to launch

  • Experience in a Global, multi-cultural role, specifically in Developing & Emerging markets 

  • Financial acumen

  • Experience in Food Category and a real passion for Food

  • Consumer & Customer understanding: analysing data to relevant insights

  • Experience in Savoury Category, preferable meal solutions specific

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 

  • Excellent written and spoken English 

  • Excellent IT skills are required, particularly Word, Excel and Powerpoint
