Job Summary

The Global Brand Manager will play a key supporting role to the Global Brand Director to bring the Brand Innovation and Communication plans to life as well as supporting on Brand Strategy. Delivers the project/s financial and share targets for Cornetto Globally. 

Job Responsibilites

  • Responsible for key Global Innovation activities and Leads Global innovation projects against agreed category and brand global priorities. 

  • Develops consumer relevant concepts based on consumer and Shopper insights turning these into growth opportunities.

  • Drives margin improvement through margin enhancing innovation development

  • Actively Involved in Communication Development for Cornetto projects in own area of responsibility, working with agencies (Advertising and Packaging) to deliver brilliant ideas and executions. 

  • Develops and leads the Cornetto sustainability agenda and is the Category Sustainability Champion for Cornetto.

  • Is responsible for the leadership and performance development of 1 Assistant Brand Manager. 

  • Supports Line manager in budget (Advertising Production, Product & Packaging Development) management with the objective of maximizing non working media efficiency. 
  • Job Requirements

  • Strong marketing experience, focused primarily on Category Marketing/Brand Development within Ice cream 
    Category is required

  • Marketing experience within D&E markets is strongly needed for this role as 50% of TO and largest part of A&P is from D&E. 

  • You will successfully delivered in brand manager role in both Innovation and Communication development

  • Proven track record of working in a regional/global environment. 

  • Excellent project leader skills. Proven record in project management, preferably at global/regional level.

  • Previous Experience with teenager targeting is a plus.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver through relationships at all levels of the organization

  • Clear thinking; concise communications; ability to deal with high level of complexity and fast pace

  • A Passion and appetite for challenge, with a tenacious attitude, ability to multi-task, simplify and prioritize.
