Job Summary
Note: the position is for on-site work at Al Mirfa (Abu Dhabi)
A. HSE
Perform work including:
- Provide guidance to management in health, safety and environment matters, including reporting as required.
- Executing Health, Environment, Safety Management Plans in an effective manner.
- Ensure the implementation, monitoring and maintenance of the company health and safety system.
- Ensure the implementation, monitoring and maintenance of the company health and safety system.
- Implementing waste management system and reduction.
- Supervising Off-site waste disposal and management
In Particular
- All general perform work has to be adapted to Railway project in according to the requirement of Customer HSE
Managing all certificate relating to HSE issue:
- Safe Health Certificate for operator;
- Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS);
- Rescue Plan
- Crane and, Hook, Fast certificate,
- Climbing Certificate
Ensure all activities undertaken are carried out with due regard to a high level of safety.
B. Stakeholder management
Manage key stakeholders for the project by:
- Liaising with Customers;
- Coordinating with HSE responsible the main contractor;
- Interacting with Government Authorities;
- Coordinating with.
C. Material management
Manage materials for the project on site by:
- Taking care that all material is handled in the right way in term of HSE.
D. Reporting:
- Compiling, collating and preparing periodical Safety Audit is required;
- Preparing and updating HSE plans;
- Preparing and updating Risk Assessment & Method Statement
- Preparing and updating Risk
Perform other duties as required.
Job Requirements
Education:
Minimum: completed college Diploma, certificate in Health, Safety and Environment training.
Desired: completed university education (to Bachelor’s degree level) in Health, Safety and Environment.
Experience:
A minimum of five (5) years experience in Health, Safety and Environment field, is required.
Core competencies:
Expertise in Health, Safety and Environment and in particular excellent knowledge of UAE rules ;
Proficient in the use of computers and office applications - MS office Project, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
Knowledge and excellent command of English and knowledge of Arabic a distinct advantage;
Enthusiasm and willingness to learn;
Accountability for results;
Strong client orientation;
Creativity and out-of-the-box thinking.
