Job Purpose:
To act as a systems administrator for the HRIS (Cascade) and to act as a point of contact and provide general HR support to the Malaria Consortium HR team, focusing on UK based and internationally relocated employees.
Job Responsibilites
Key Accountabilities:
ï‚· Optimise the use of HRIS at a global level ensuring that data is accurately captured; undertake a variety of administration functions (including creation and maintenance of menus, tasks, screens, profiles, security elements and passwords etc); ensure screen configuration and development reflect country differences; set up and run standard reports
ï‚· Act as initial point of contact for the systems provider and as an internal support desk for HRIS queries
ï‚· Train UK based employees, HR focal points and Country Directors to use HRIS
ï‚· Act as first point of contact for day to day HR queries, policy interpretation, terms and conditions
ï‚· Support the development of the organisational learning and development culture; collate learning needs from appraisals, monitor and record training and development activities, capture and record financial data
ï‚· Prepare contracts, support general HR and benefits administration and act as point of contact for medical insurance
ï‚· Hold HR inductions and overviews for new starters
ï‚· Produce the monthly payroll in respect of new starters and leavers and ensure accurate and timely completion
ï‚· Oversee the process for starters and leavers, including exit interviews
ï‚· Undertake market research and assist in the analysis of pay and benefit data
ï‚· Maintain accurate and up to date records and files for employees
ï‚· Produce KPI monthly reports and analysis; monitoring objectives, appraisals and turnover
ï‚· Ensure the effective communication of HR policies and processes including updating the Intranet
ï‚· Contribute to the development and implementation of robust policies, processes and systems to enhance HR delivery
ï‚· Provide support on HR projects
ï‚· Any other reasonable duties as may be designated to the position from time to time
Job Requirements
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
ï‚· Knowledge and experience of HR Management Information Systems, and ideally in supporting others to use HRIS
ï‚· Qualified in or working towards CIPD accreditation
ï‚· Experience in a HR support role; including preparation of contracts and supporting stakeholders
ï‚· Ability to maintain confidentiality of HR information
ï‚· Ability to use judgment to determine when to deal with a query to conclusion or when to pass to another member of the team
ï‚· Organised and methodical and with good attention to detail
ï‚· Willingness and ability to work within a multi-site, international organisation
ï‚· Customer focused with good interpersonal skills
ï‚· Ability to work on own initiative with limited supervision
ï‚· Ability to deal with ambiguity and work towards a resolution
ï‚· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
ï‚· Ability to analyse and interpret numerical data
ï‚· Excellent Microsoft Office packages - Word, Excel, Outlook
Desirable:
ï‚· Previous experience in using Cascade
ï‚· Previous experience of management reporting
ï‚· A degree in a HR related field
ï‚· Experience in the not-for-profit sector, ideally with an international focus
ï‚· Experience of supporting process improvement and design
