Job Summary

As a Junior IT Engineer, you will be responsible for providing pivotal IT support to users, ensuring a high level of customer service at all times. You will also be tasked with a number of key development projects. 

As an integral member of the team, you will undertake a variety of duties, from helpdesk support services through to server maintenance, core networking, system design, implementation testing and deployment. You will also ensure the delivery of fault-free development and ensure user issues and queries are resolved efficiently and effectively. 

We possess ambitious, innovative and cutting-edge development plans over the next three years and you will help them to realise their goals. The company's core development platforms are SQL Server and C# .NET, however, they utilise a wide variety of technologies in order to meet project requirements. 

Job Requirements

You must have a degree in a computer based subject. You must also have experience of object orientated programming, such as Java or C#, gained within your studies, a commercial environment or similar.

As a Junior IT Engineer, you must have superb communication skills, an articulate telephone manner and superb problem solving abilities.

Customer-focused with a keen eye for detail, you must be willing to go the extra mile to help others and be able to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the table. The desire to learn and develop new skills is also key.
