Ensure discipline personnel consistently work within the Quality Management System.

Monitor and maintain I&C engineering estimating norms.

Develop and promote initiatives to improve cost effectiveness and productivity on projects.

Liaise with Chief Engineer on project discipline resource requirements.

Identify software necessary to enable electrical group to function effectively.

Discipline and inter discipline communication development.

Prepare I&C cost, time and resource requirement estimates on assigned projects.

Identify and review new technologies development which may provide more efficient and cost effective solutions.

Liaise with Project Manager/Engineer to manage design change within project budget and schedule framework.

Prepare Instrument deliverables, basis of design and reports etc. as and when required.

Essential Skills/Experience

Bachelor of Engineering (Instrumentation/Electronics) from reputed Universities.

18 years + experience within the upstream oil and gas industry.

Matching Indicators

Preference will be given to candidates with extensive design experience on upstream Oil and gas projects (off shore) with design experience on systems such as DCS, ESD, FF, SCADA, Telecoms and F&G systems.

Candidate shall be familiar with SHELL DEPs, BP recommend practices and International codes and standards.

Shall be conversant with MS office. Valve sizing calculations, flow element sizing calculations.

Exposure to Intools and SIL studies and ability to provide input to control and shutdown narrative would be added advantage.

Good communication skills and report writing skills.
