Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Communications, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: 
• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Work closely with the Director of Communications and other key stakeholders within the hotel to identify and develop possible events and promotions which will benefit the hotel and drive guest visits and revenue
• Plan and oversee the promotions and events advertising and promotional activities for the F&B, spa, kids club and sales department, including print, electronic, and direct mail ensuring all service standards are followed
• Recommend pricing strategy for the hotel that will result in the greatest market share
• Communicate with outside advertising agencies on ongoing campaigns
• Research, analyze and monitor financial, technological, and demographic factors so that market opportunities may be capitalized on
• Work with the Cluster Public Relations department and appointed agencies to develop PR plans which support the promotional and marketing actives for F&B, sales, Spa and kids club
• Work with the Digital marketing manager and DRO to support promotions and events through digital marketing and social media
• Work with the key operational departments to ensure that promotions and events are communicated through the hotel in an effective manner
• Assist the Director of Communications with the annual business plan process and budget expenses for promotions.
• Follow the annual budget and administer that budget in a fiscally responsible manner
• Provides direction and monitors ongoing execution and development of monthly reports
• Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs
• Follow departmental policies and procedures 
• Performs additional tasks and/or responsibilities as assigned
• Follow all safety policies
• Other duties as assigned
• Requires a resourceful self starter with strong management skills, an understanding of the club environment, sales and training concepts, general marketing and understands how to balance
• Previous leadership experience within marketing required
• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications and other relevant computer applications required 
• University/College degree in a related discipline required
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
