Job Description

Reporting to the Accountant of the Corporation, the successful candidate will be responsible for all procurement matters relating to the Corporation, and will facilitate procurement activities in order to ensure timely provision of resources and services.


  • Develop and implement a control framework for contracts and procurement (C&P) activities of the corporation
  • Prepare and maintain detailed annual procurement plans for the Corporation
  • Provide support in all stages of the procurement process of goods and bidding process
  • Monitor all procurements to ensure adherence to schedule and standards, and that contractual arrangements for external services are fulfilled
  • Maintain up-to-date procurement records, ensuring bidding processes are documented in accordance with applicable rules and procedures


  • A good first degree in Engineering, Architecture or relevant degrees with specialist training and/or proven track record in procurement
  • A minimum of 5years experience in procurement management, with good knowledge of procurement concepts, principles and approaches
  • Knowledge of international procurement procedures shall be an added advantage
  • Extensive knowledge in preparation of bidding documents, request for proposals including TORs, evaluation of bids /consultancy proposals within a wide range of procurement methods
  • High level of precision in written communications, as well as excellent analytical and observation skills in reviewing and verifying documents
