A Program Manager to support the MEA Communications team in implementing the Middle East and Africa Communications strategy.
The jobholder will bring a positive commitment to joining the MEA Comms team and support the execution of Comms programs across MEA. He or she will have a keen willingness to learn from communications experts and grow his/her skills in the field of communications.
Based in Dubai, the jobholder will report to the Communications Manager, Middle East & Africa. The main mandate of MEA Comms is to be responsible for building and advancing, as well as defending and protecting, the reputation of MasterCard, its products, enterprise and brand in MEA.
The jobholder position will provide program implementation and admin support to all communications programs and personnel, including in Africa. These programs include the areas of External and Media Communications, Social and Digital, Internal Communications, CSR and Event Management.
•Manage digital media, photo library, compiling media coverage
•Active role in employee volunteering, coordinating with NGOs and mobilizing employees, identifying charitable causes
•Manage internal communications channels like Priceless Moments wall in cafeteria, MasterMinds, TV channels
•Support head of Internal Comms in managing MEA page on MC Central
•Provide active support to events management including board meetings, sponsorships, press conferences, customers meetings, etc.
•Manage executive country visits including coordinating briefing packs, scheduling, venue bookings, handling PR agencies, etc.
•Provide admin support to the comms team, if needed
•Handle issuance of POs and management of vendor relationships, including PR agencies across MEA, production houses, photographers, event organizers, etc.
•The ideal candidate will have experience and degree in communications, either having worked at a PR agency or in-house
•Demonstrable ability to support the execution of programs that support business growth within a dynamic and changing corporation.
•Good writing skills in English
