Provide leadership to the Regional Middle Office to deliver and execute processes & controls in accordance with the standard defined procedures (Global, Regional & Product).

Accountable for the correct execution of the Regional Middle Office Roles & Responsibilities in MENAP
Accountable for the provision of appropriate regional process documents/ desk operating instructions.
Responsible to provide leadership and manage the team to achieve performance targets and objectives.
1.New and Amended Trade Validation
Responsible for the execution of accurate and timely trade validation according to the latest approved global, product & regionally defined procedures.
2.Trade Life Cycling
Responsible for the execution of accurate and timely trade life cycling according to the latest approved global, product, and regionally defined procedures.
•Applicable to exercises, rate resets and all types of market operations.
•Applicable to validation versus approved source life cycling model
3.Reconciliation and Exception Queue Management
Responsible for the execution of accurate and timely reconciliations and break investigations according to the latest approved global, product, and regionally defined procedures.
4.Query, Investigation and Escalation Management
Responsible for the execution of accurate & timely management of queries, investigation and escalation according to the latest approved global, product and regionally defined procedures.
5.Bug/System Issue Communication and Bug/Fix testing
Responsible for the execution of accurate & timely management of queries, investigation and escalation according to the latest approved global, product and regionally defined procedures
•Applies to all management of all queries, investigations, and escalations.
6.Main coordination for Portfolio Compression (all activities, including bilateral agreements for Rates/ Credit and multilateral agreements).
Responsible for the people management, training and development
•Applies to provide guidance and advice on BAU and Ad hoc project
•Applies to developing the team, and groom the potential deputy team leader
•Ensure audit issues are being addressed and solutions provided.
Candidate must possess a Degree or Diploma or Professional qualification in any field.
Preferably a Manager specializing in Banking/Financial Services or equivalent.
Derivatives experience is essential
Track record in managing people
Possesses strong English communication and written skills with good inter-personal relationship skills.
Excellent PC skills: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access.
Extremely high attention to detail and a desire to learn and grow within the role.
Ability to meet tight deadlines.
Able to work autonomously, but also be a good team player.
High analytical and problem solving abilities.
