Job Summary

·         Prepare and periodically update a strategic development plan

·         Provide technical input to the dossiers to be submitted for business review

·         Initiate and perform screening studies for potential new developments

·         Assist the drilling group by consolidating the drilling planning within the scope of work

·         Initiate economic evaluations of the potential projects in relation with the strategy/business unit

·         Preparation, follow up and explanation of pre-development studies budget and performance

·         Examines and evaluates the cost and schedule control organization, plans, performance and procedures to ensure compliance with the contract

·         Review and where appropriate, endorses schedule and cost estimates

·         Reports and analyzes cost and schedule trends

·         Monitors and reports on cost and schedule implications of changes

·         Assists site management in developing/reviewing cost and schedule recovery plans

·         Develops site project control plans

·         Participates by performing field sampling of progress measurement and reporting activities

Job Requirements

·         M.Sc./ Mechanical/Chemical/Petroleum Engineering and relevant technical fields

·         Minimum of 8 – 10 years experience in the field

·         Excellent understanding of the upstream industry, including exploration, reservoir/production, facilities and oil treatment, economic evaluations and commercial aspects

·         Strong commercial background with the ability to understand and manage relatively complex deals and financial transactions

·         Knowledge of Project and Vendor management

·         Knowledge of Primavera software
