Job Description

Job Summary:

This position is a very vital one as the person would have to work in relation to tax for the Company. The person should have the capability of undertaking detailed reconciliation and the quality of the knack for figures. He or she has to pay a lot of attention to details as the internal revenue service tends to hold Companies directly responsible if they file inaccurate returns.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* The Incumbent has to first of all gather tax information from various departments of the organization.

* He or she has to check and recheck the information provided by the various departments.

* He or she has to prepare the reports and records timely to show the seniors so will need to follow the company procedures and standards.

* He or she has to liaise with the tax office so will have to maintain coordination with them.

Skills and Specifications

* The candidates need to have exceptional numerical skills to do the work accurately.

* He or she should have some prior working experience of accounting procedures.

* He or she needs to be an excellent communicator to liaise with other departments.

* The Candidates are required to have extraordinary analytical skills with the ability of organization.

Education and Qualification

* The qualification required for the job is not specific but the candidate needs to have general education; thus the candidates should have a School Leaving Certificate of which they have between the A - C Grade in Mathematics or a Diploma in Accounts, Statistics and other related Subject.

* The candidates have to be able to follow the strict deadlines that are set by the tax office.
