Job Summary
As part of Chevron Gas and Midstream (CGM), Chevron Supply and Trading (S&T) is the critical commercial link for Upstream and Downstream & Chemicals (DS&C) to the market. S&T applies its knowledge of commodity markets, the crude-to-customer value chain, and liquefied natural gas (LNG) and pipeline gas businesses to maximize the value of enterprise assets. Through Crude, Products and Gas Supply & Trading (CSAT / PSAT / GSAT), S&T buys, sells and supplies crude oil, refined products, natural gas and gas liquids to support Chevron's crude and gas production operations and its refining and marketing network. S&T integrates enterprise-wide supply and trading capabilities to capture commercial opportunities across the entire value chain through commercial functional excellence.
The Trading Analyst will work closely and liaise with the traders, operators, accounting, credit accounting, risk control and other global trading offices world-wide in order to manage trading positions and portfolios within the Integrated Commodity Trading System (ICTS). More specifically, the Trading Analyst is responsible for data entry of physical and financial positions into the ICTS. The position is responsible for tracking and analyzing all aspects of profit and loss ensuring the correct mark to market of portfolios. The analysis provides an understanding of the reporting requirements of the trading teams and senior management.
